It stands for secure socket layer that establishes the
secure encrypted link between web server
and browser. All the data that is passed through this link will be secured. It is
an industry standard that is followed by most of the website owners. Don’t think that you need to install something in your computer setup.We need
SSL certificate in order to use SSL security. When you go for the SSL security
you will have to complete number of question asked by web sever then your web
server creates two cryptographic keys, public and private key. Then you have
submit your CSR (Certificate signing
request) by encrypting it from private key. Then webserver will validate all
the details of yours by CSR and allow you to use SSL.

the web browser with the help of icon. Might be you had seen a lock in the side
of the web browser address bar. By the help of this icon we can analyse that
which site is secure and which is insecure.
